The entry screen is the only place where you can type information directly into a record.
The entry screen consists of:
• Fields and their labels: There are 22 fields, which are the boxes where you type the information for a record. Each field is labelled to indicate the nature of the information you might type there. (The "Note" field is not labelled; it's the big box at the bottom of the entry screen.) You can change field labels (see "Entry Setup") and you can type anything you want in all fields (except "Date", where you must enter a date).
• Icon palette: A vertical palette of buttons that you can click on to quickly perform a command. Most commands in Dynodex are also accessible from the keyboard (see "Command Keys").
